GAC Motors in Pakistan: Full Lineup, Prices & Should You Buy One?

By Admin User · 10 June 2026 · 2 min read

GAC Motor, China's fifth-largest automaker and a listed subsidiary of Guangzhou Automobile Group, officially entered Pakistan in 2023 and has been making waves with aggressive pricing and feature-loaded vehicles. But is a GAC car the right choice for Pakistani buyers?

GAC Pakistan Lineup and Prices (2025)

  • GAC GS3 (Compact SUV): PKR 6.5–7.5 million — 1.5-litre turbocharged, 5-seat
  • GAC EMKOO (Crossover SUV): PKR 8.5–10 million — sporty styling, large touchscreen, panoramic sunroof
  • GAC GS8 (Full-size SUV): PKR 12–15 million — 2.0-litre turbo, 7-seat, premium cabin

GAC has also teased its Aion EV series for Pakistan, expected in 2025–2026, which would bring fully electric SUVs to the Pakistani market at competitive price points.

What Makes GAC Compelling

The value proposition is difficult to argue with. The GAC GS8, for instance, offers:

  • 2.0-litre turbocharged engine (252 hp)
  • 7-seat capacity with captain chairs in the second row
  • Large panoramic sunroof
  • 360-degree camera system
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
  • 12-inch floating touchscreen infotainment
  • Adaptive cruise control and lane-keeping assist

A Japanese or Korean SUV with equivalent features would cost PKR 20–25 million. GAC delivers this at roughly half the price.

The Concerns Every Pakistani Buyer Should Weigh

After-sales support and parts availability remain the primary concern for GAC car price Pakistan buyers. The dealership network is still limited compared to Toyota or Honda. Before purchasing, confirm:

  • Is there an authorized service center in your city?
  • What is the parts import lead time for body panels and electronics?
  • Does the warranty cover parts and labour at authorized centres only?

Resale value is the other variable. Chinese vehicles have historically depreciated faster in Pakistan due to hesitation about longevity and long-term support. However, as GAC establishes a longer track record, this gap is narrowing — early adopters accept some resale risk in exchange for features at lower prices.

Who Should Buy a GAC?

  • Buy GAC if: you plan to keep the vehicle for 5–7 years, you have an authorized service center nearby, and maximum features per rupee is your priority
  • Avoid GAC if: you plan to resell within 2–3 years, you are in a city without GAC service infrastructure, or brand reputation with buyers is critical to you

As Chinese brands continue to expand their Pakistan footprint and service networks, the calculus will continue to shift in their favour. For now, GAC represents a bold value choice for well-informed buyers.
