Vehicle Emission Test Results on AmrokGate: Prove Your Car Passes

By Admin User · 5 October 2026 · 2 min read

Smog season has made vehicle emissions a real concern in Pakistan's big cities, and environmental protection departments are testing more cars at the roadside and at testing stations. If you are buying a used car, it helps to know whether it passes. If you are selling, a clean emission result is an easy way to stand out. AmrokGate now lets you attach a full emission test record to any car in your Garage and to any listing you publish.

What You Can Record

  • Result: passed, failed, pending or exempt
  • Test date and expiry / renew-by date, so everyone can see whether the certificate is still valid
  • Certificate number and testing centre
  • Verification link, if the testing authority gives you a URL where the certificate can be checked
  • Control sticker photo, the windscreen sticker issued after a test
  • The full test report as a PDF or image
  • Pollutant readings: CO, HC, NOx, CO₂, O₂, particulate matter, smoke opacity and lambda. Petrol cars usually report the gas readings, and diesels report smoke and PM.

One History per Car, Shown on Every Listing

An emission test belongs to the physical car, not to a single advert. That is why tests live on the garage vehicle as a dated history. When you list that car for sale, the listing automatically shows its latest test, so buyers always see the current result rather than an old one you forgot to update.

Expiry and Renewal Alerts

Emission certificates expire. AmrokGate flags a certificate that is due within 30 days or has already expired, both on the car's page and on the listing. Your dashboard and the mobile app will also remind you before the renew-by date, so you can book a re-test in time.

For Buyers

When a listing carries an emission card, check three things: that the result says Passed, that it hasn't expired, and that the sticker photo or verification link matches the car's registration. A recent pass with readings attached is a good sign that the engine and catalytic converter are healthy.
